Hammersmith is a really well-oiled machine. They get the job done and they get it done very well.
They have strong relationships with all consultants and subcontractors, instilling confidence in the whole team. In a strict working environment with critical timing, this brings synergy and efficiency. Nothing was ever an issue. We had a problem with a flooring sealant, which was nothing to do with Hammersmith, but they’ve toiled and persevered to find a solution. Their service and support extend beyond the project. I have the utmost respect for the Hammersmith team. I’d welcome the opportunity to work with them again.
Chief Operating Officer, Russells Law
Levels 18 & 19, 300 Queen Street, Brisbane
The Brisbane office of Russells Law was expanding and relocating from level 21 to levels 18 and 19 at 300 Queen Street. As with all commercial fitout projects, the tenancies imposed critical timeframes. In this instance, the schedule was particularly tight, given the project’s scale and level of detail.
With extensive pre-planning, careful design management and close collaboration with the client, designer, building manager, joinery provider and other subcontractors, the project was delivered to an eight-week construction program with an Easter completion deadline.
The works were completed on time. The client and design team were stoked. And Russells relocated on schedule.
The successful delivery of this project led to Russells and the building manager Jones Lang LaSalle recommending Hammersmith to Holding Redlich for their new office fitout in the same building.
