Pig ’n’ Whistle West End was a challenging project with a very condensed timeframe. Our client is a perfectionist and very hands-on—that’s why their business is so successful. They’re committed to quality, and totally engaged in the process.
Hammersmith was as committed as the client. They are smart, adaptable and ran a very tight program. They have a great team of quality craftspeople who work together seamlessly. They rose to the challenge and made a complex project a success, and a demanding client very happy.

Pig ’n’ Whistle West End represents a vibrant new venue for the Mantle Group’s flagship brand, and the sixth instalment for the popular British-themed pub. Hammersmith was engaged to deliver Cameron & Co Architecture’s bold and carefully-considered design for the 550 seat restaurant and bar.
The project was delivered to a critical and challenging 11-week timeframe, to the exacting standards of a seasoned hospitality operator. Construction carefully negotiated the heavily-trafficked corner location on the fringe of the CBD, working right up to the site boundary.
The welcoming, upmarket pub features expansive vaulted ceilings, a sprawling centrepiece bar crafted from brass and Pilbara marble, and striking sculpted brass feature lights so big they needed a wide load vehicle and escort to make it to site. The project was completed on budget and on schedule. The furniture was installed the following day, and Pig ’n’ Whistle West End opened that very night to a very warm reception.
